Winter Wren (Troglodytes hiemalis)
- HABITAT - Winter Wrens live in the dense tangles and thickets of the coniferous and mixed forests across Alaska and Canada and into New England states.
- DIET -Winter Wrens feed primarily on small insects such as grasshoppers, crickets, and caterpillars. They may also sometimes eat berries, perhaps mainly in fall and winter.
- FACTS - Winter Wren has a very short tail that is often pointed straight up. They heard more often than seen as they can be prolific singers.
