Tufted Titmouse (Baeolophus bicolor)
- HABITAT - Tufted Titmouse is continuing to expand its range to the north, yet it is still an extremely rare sighting in our area. To date,we have only seen the Tufted Titmouse while travelling in New York State
- DIET - They eat a diet of seeds, berries, insects and other invertebrates.
- FACTS - Like the Black-capped Chickadee, Tufted Titmice typically select one sunflower seed from a feeder at a time. They shell it and hide the kernel about 40 metres from the feeder.
