- DIET - These birds are omnivores, eating both animal and plant foods. They eat mostly aquatic insects in the summer and seeds in the winter months.
- FACTS - We had this female Yellow-headed Blackbird visit our backyard in the spring. She stayed around for a few days and then left to continue her migration. She was a long way from her normal range.
