Blue-winged Teal (Spatula discors)
- HABITAT - lue-winged Teal's preferred breeding habitats include freshwater marshes, marshy lakes, and ponds. Breeding takes place in North America, particularly in the northern prairies and wetlands. Nests are shallow depressions on the ground, lined with down and hidden in tall vegetation near water. In winter, they migrate to Central and South America, favoring coastal lagoons, estuaries, and freshwater habitats.
