Habitat: Open woods, forest edges, roadsides, disturbed lands, yards and gardens
Native/Non-native: Native to Eastern Asia, considered invasive in North America and Europe.
in the 1960-70's Autumn Olive was planted throughout North America for a variety of reasons including promoting them as beneficial to wildlife. Unfortunately, they aggressive and out-compete many native plants.
