Habitat: Woodlands, roadsides and disturbed areas.
Native/Non-native: Native to Eurasia, introduced widely in North America.
It is considered an aggressive invasive plant in parts of North America. The entire plant is toxic as it contains a range of isoquinoline alkaloids.
