• Habitat: Fields, roadsides and open areas.
• Native/Non-native: Native plant, widespread throughout North American. It has been introduced to Europe and Asia where it can be considered an invasive species.       
• Flowers from May to August, but mainly in early summer.  
•  Pretty little flower that is sometimes considered a weed.
