Dragonfly Watching

A short documentary on the pastime of Dragonfly Watching. Like Birdwatching, Dragonfly Watching can be a fun and educational pursuit for the outdoor nature enthusiasts. The video inlcudes many images of the beautiful Odonates from our region. The video is hosted by YouTube to make streaming easy.

The Brent Run

A short account of the Brent Run canoe trip in Algonquin Park, ON. This is a series of videos with a few stills from a paddling adventure from July 2014. The Brent Run trip starts at Canoe Lake, goes to Brent Station and return. The total length is 160km with 46 portages. Some people do this trip without stopping. We decided to take our time and spend 10 days in this wonderful Algonquin interior.

Seasons of Algonquin

Enjoy an 11 minute slideshow presenting the four seasons of Algonquin Park in Ontario Canada. The show provides a tease of the flora and fauna of the park along with the majestic landscapes both along the corridor and in the interior.

Waltz of the Puffins

Atlantic Puffins are ridiculous. This very short slideshow shows photographs of the Puffins while converging on the shores of Newfoundland at the beginning of the breeding season.

Wow! What a Winter

Winter of 2013-2014 was one of those real winters like we used to have 30years ago with record snowfall and thick ice on our ponds and lakes. The winter was very harsh on humans and nature alike. But also offered some great photo opportunities for those who were willing to venture out
